Six teams are expected to face off in the inaugural Adrian “Robin” Garnes Fast5 Netball Tournament hosted by the Police Boys and Girls Club when it gets under way from tomorrow, Saturday, November 17.

The two-day event will continue on Sunday, November 18, on the netball court at the Club’s Bay Street, St. Michael headquarters from 5:00 p.m. each day.

Competing teams are: Always Gems, Pink Panthers, Kick Starz, Fast5 Falcons, Warriors Ballerz and Momentum Ballerz. The first place winners are expected to walk away with $1,500, second prize $1,000 and $500 for the third place winners.

The tournament is being held in honour of Adrian “Robin” Garnes, who has faithfully coached and mentored young players from the Club’s inception in the 1950s.

Members of the public, past and present players of the Club are invited to come out and show their support during the tournament.
