Those Barbadians who are still undecided about what to get their loved ones for Christmas may find what they are looking for at the Bajan Christmas Marketplace in Heroes Square.
The event, which is being held in conjunction with the Barbados Manufacturers’ Association, the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Small Business Association, the Barbados Trust Fund Limited, Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme and the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation, gets under way from 10:00 a.m., on Friday, December 18.
Patrons attending will be treated to tuk band performances at 1:00 p.m., and a heritage tour led by historian Trevor Marshall, starting at 2:30 p.m.
The Ministry, in collaboration with its business support stakeholders, is urging all Barbadians to come out and support the vendors, adding that the small business sector has been identified as one of the sectors that would drive economic recovery within the Barbados economy.
