Persons interested in participating in the National Innovation Competition 2013 are reminded that the deadline is Monday, September 30.

The competition, which is being hosted by the National Council for Science and Technology, (NCST), aims to promote creativity and recognise excellence in innovation in Barbados.

Each entry must project one idea, which must meet a need in the market for which it is intended, and must have the potential to generate income.

Entries may be submitted by individuals or teams comprising a maximum of four persons, all of whom must be citizens of Barbados or permanent residents of at least three years.

Application forms, which may be downloaded from the website www.ncst.gov.bb, should be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the National Council for Science and Technology, Reef Road, Fontabelle, St. Michael.

They may also be faxed to 228-5765, or scanned and emailed to registration.ncst@barbados.gov.bb. For further information, individuals may contact the NCST at 427-5272.
