The meetings on the Barbados Secondary Schools Entrance Examination will continue tomorrow, Thursday, January 17, at St. Bartholomew’s Primary, Parish Land, Christ Church and Cuthbert Moore Primary, St. Helen, St. George beginning at 5:00 p.m.

These will be followed by sessions on Saturday, January 19, at the Princess Margaret Secondary School in Six Roads, St. Philip and St. Stephen’s Primary, St. Stephen’s Hill, Black Rock, St. Michael.

The series of meetings on the exam, familiarly known as the Common Entrance Examination, will culminate on Sunday, January 20, at Bayley’s Primary, Merricks, St. Philip and St. John’s Primary, Glebe, St. John

A key aim of the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development is to sensitise parents and guardians as well as educators about the processes involved in the administration of the examination, which will be held on Tuesday, May 7.

Main facilitators for the sessions will be Senior Education Officer, Glyne Price, Education Officer, Everton Briggs, and Principal of Hillaby Turner’s Hall, Colin Cumberbatch. They will instruct persons on how to fill out the forms used in the BSSEE, including those for choice of school, deferral and special requests.

Parents and guardians have been urged by the Ministry of Education to attend any meeting convenient for them.
