The final lecture in the series "Emigration from Barbados" will take place next Tuesday, April 20, with a presentation from Central Bank Governor, Dr. Delisle Worrell.??
He will speak on the topic "Migration and the Barbadian Standard of Living" and it will now be held at the Grande Salle, Tom Adams Financial Centre, at 7:30 p.m.
The series, coordinated by the Barbados Museum and Historical Society, explored the link between the sugar revolution in Barbados in the 1640’s and the emigration trends which occurred from that period to the present.
