The programme to license dogs in St. Philip will conclude next week at Halton Terrace Playing Field.??

Officers of the Animal Control Unit, the Environmental Health Division of the Ministry of Health, and the Hope Martin Foundation will target Halton Terrace and its environs spaying, neutering and licensing dogs from Monday, December 7 to Friday, December 11.

The programme will run from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. daily.

Residents in the area are urged to "come out and access the services" from the Hope Martin Spaying/Neutering Mobile Clinic that will also include de-worming, the inspection of premises where dogs are kept; flea/tick treatment and the clipping of nails.

Environmental health officers will distribute educational pamphlets, while a representative from Roberts Manufacturing Co. Ltd. will offer samples of various dog food to owners and discuss proper feeding techniques for these animals.

Residents are urged to cooperate with the team who will be wearing appropriate identification and undertaking house-to-house visits.
