The Financial Literacy Bureau’s satellite clinics, aimed at getting Barbadians to be better money managers, will continue next week at a number of venues across the island.

On Tuesday, December 1, there will be a session on Budgeting for your Household at the Valley Resource Centre, The Valley, St. George. At Frederick Smith Secondary School, Trents, St. James, participants will benefit from a talk on Using your Credit Card Wisely, while at the Gall Hill Resource Centre, Gall Hill, St. John, the topic will be Making your Money Work for You. All sessions will run from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday, December 3, the team will be at the Emmerton Community Centre, St. Michael, where the discussions will focus on Making your Money Work for You. At the Gall Hill Resource Centre, St. John, the topic will be Budgeting for your Household. Both sessions will commence at 6:00 and end at 7:30 p.m.

Also on December 3, at the Christ Church Foundation School, Church Hill, Christ Church, resource persons will speak on the topic: Using your Credit Card Wisely, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

The following week, Tuesday, December 8, Costing and Pricing for Businesses will be discussed at the Valley Resource Centre, The Valley, St. George. This will run from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. 

On Thursday, December 10, Making your Money Work for You, Budgeting for your Household and Costing and Pricing for Businesses will be discussed at the Ellerton Community Centre, St. George; Emmerton Resource Centre, St. Michael; and the Gall Hill Resource Centre, St. John, respectively. All sessions begin at 6:00 p.m.
