The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Immunisation Unit has advised that first doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine are available at all operating vaccination centres.

Persons have the options of the AstraZeneca, Pfizer or Sinopharm vaccines when they visit the sites. They can walk in without an appointment.

The centres which are open today, Thursday, August 26, are Harrison College, Crumpton Street, St. Michael; the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Mile-and-a-Quarter, St. Peter, and the Sharon Moravian Church Hall, Sharon, St. Thomas.

The Unit further advises that the vaccination centre at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Mile-and-a-Quarter does not operate on Fridays.

Additionally, persons who need to get their second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine may walk into the centres to do so.
