Barbadians are encouraged to visit the first ever Warrens Business Fair when it comes off next Friday, March 20, in the northern carpark of the Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael, from 9:00 a.m.
This forms part of the activities of the Ministry of Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Commerce to mark World Consumer Rights Day, on March 15.
The business fair will showcase the goods and services of several small businesses as well as highlight the Small Business Development Centres (SBDC) Network and various departments within the Ministry.
With World SBDC Day also being commemorated across the Americas on March 18, the Business Fair is a further attempt by the Ministry to promote the SBDC framework and will provide opportunities for clients and potential clients of the SBDC to interact with the agencies.
Other public and private sector agencies which provide important support services to the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises will also be in attendance.
These include the Barbados Revenue Authority, the National Insurance Department and the Labour Department.
