Government is following through on its plan to set up a Foreign Exchange Committee shortly.
To this end, Prime Minister David Thompson, who is also Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, will give an overview of the proposed entity at the First Meeting of the Council for Investment, Exports, Foreign Exchange and the Diaspora (CIEX), tomorrow, Tuesday, August 19.
It will take place at the Sherbourne Conference Centre beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The welcome address will also be given by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Christopher Sinckler.
