When the team from the Vector Control Unit of the Health Ministry starts fogging next week, it will target the St. John districts of Guinea Land, Rose Gate, Massiah Street, Society, Stuart Hill, Moncriefe, District ???C’ Police Station its environs on Monday, November 2.

On Tuesday, November 3, the team will journey to St. George where fogging will occur at Cottage Development, Cottage, Moscow, Superlative, St. Judes, Rock Hall, Logan Road, Macaroni Village, Todds Village, Drax Hall, Greens, Prerogative and surrounding areas.

The following day, Wednesday, November 4, attention will be turned to the St. Philip districts of Ebenezer, Edgecombe Tenantry, Carrington Tenantry, Brereton Village and their environs.

Several districts in St. Andrew will be fogged on Thursday, November 5. They include: Shorey Village, Belleplaine, Corbin Village, Isolation Road, Douglin Road, Jordan Road, Lakes, East Coast Road, Walkers, Bawdens, Babylon and its surroundings.

Fogging will culminate on Friday, November 6, in St. Michael at Brandons, Birds River, Deacons Farm, Brighton, Deacons Road, Rosemont, Black Rock Main Road, Ashdeane Village, Carlton Road and neighbouring districts.

All fogging runs from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. and householders are asked to assist by opening windows and doors to allow the fog to penetrate.

Persons with respiratory problems should protect themselves from inhaling the fog while pedestrians and motorists must proceed with caution when encountering fogging operations on the street.

Parents are instructed to prohibit children from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging machine.
