Two parishes will be fogged next week between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. when the Ministry of Health continues its fogging programme to rid the island of the aedes aegypti mosquito.

On Monday, October 5, the team from the Vector Control Unit will visit St. Michael and St. Thomas and fog Cane Wood Road, Jackson Stage 1, 2, & 3, Arsenal Playing Field Road, Jackson Tenantry Road, Cane Garden Development and its environs.

The team will return to St. Michael on Tuesday, October 6, to target Wildey Road, East Terrace, Wildey Gardens, Barclays Park, Wildey Industrial Park, South Meadow, North Meadow, 1st to 6th Avenue North Meadow, Rock Close, Rock Avenue and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, October 7, will be the turn of the St. Thomas districts of Rock Hall, Porey Spring, Dunscombe, Farmers, Cane Garden, Content, Airy Cot and its environs.

The team will fog the St. Michael districts of Grazettes Housing Area, Grazettes Landing Scheme, Long Gap, Piedmont Park, Spooners Hill, Thompson Gap, White Hall Main Road, Bridge Gap, St. Stephen’s Hill, Cave Hill Housing Area, Phillip Land, Grazettes New Road and surrounding areas, on Thursday, October 8.

Fogging for the week will culminate in St. Michael, on Friday, October 9, at President Kennedy Drive, Westbury Road, Westbury New Road, Fitz Gap, Phillip Gap, School Gap, Grants Gap, Parris Gap with avenues, Blanche Gap, Goodland, Deacons Road, Headley Road, Odle Road, Farnum Road and neighbouring districts.

Individuals with respiratory illnesses should protect themselves from inhaling the fog.??
