Three parishes ??? St. Philip, St. Michael and St. Joseph ??? have been earmarked for fogging by the Vector Control Unit, next week.

On Monday, July 29, the team will carry out fogging operations in St. Philip in the following districts: Union Hall, Union Park, Union Development, Seaview, Ruby Park, Ruby Tenantry, Jessamy Lane and the environs.

They will then move on to St. Michael on Tuesday, July 30, where Bank Hall Cross Road, Buckingham Road, Sealy Land, Gilkes Land, Powder Road, Windsor Road, Barracks Road, Park Road, Savannah Road, Deanes Village, Gooding Road, Nurse Land, Waterford, Bush Hall Road, Bank Hall Main Road and the surrounding areas will be fogged.

On Wednesday, July 31, the fogging team will visit the St. Joseph districts of Blackmans, Towerville Road, Bonwell Road, Orange Grove, Suriname Road, Orange Cottage, Vaughn Road, Bowing Alley, Horse Hill, Joe???s River, St. Elizabeth, Gaggs Hill, Phillips Road, Bathsheba and the environs.

There will be no fogging on Thursday, August 1, Emancipation Day.

Fogging will conclude for the week on Friday, August 2, when the team returns to St. Michael to fog Eden Lodge, Pearl Drive, Sapphire Drive, Emerald Drive, Lodge Crescent, Lodge Hill, Croton Crescent, Well Gap 4th ,6th ,7th & 8th Avenues, Cave Hill, Hinds Hill, Castries Road and surrounding areas.

The fogging programme runs from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. each day. Persons with respiratory ailments should protect themselves from inhaling the fog, while children should be prevented from running behind the fogging vehicle.
