The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its fogging programme aimed at eradicating the Aedes aegypti mosquito in a number of St. Michael districts next week.

On Tuesday, April 3, a team will fog Bank Hall Cross Road, Prince of Wales Road, Queen Mary Road, King George Road, King Edward Road, Queen Victoria Road, Barracks Road, Buckingham Road, Sealy Land with Avenues and the environs.

On Wednesday, April 4, areas to be sprayed are Kensington New Road, Baxter’s Road, New Orleans with Avenues, Rock Gap, Hinkson Gap, Marshall Gap and surrounding areas.

On Thursday, April 5, Valerie, Brittons Cross Road, Beckles Road, Villa Road, Laynes Road, Scotts Gap and environs will be fogged.

The team will be in Highgate Gardens, Collymore Rock, Burkes Land, Eversley Road, Brittons New Road, Reece Road and neighbouring districts on Friday, April 6.

The fogging exercises will be carried out between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
