The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes aegypti mosquito next week, when its fogging programme moves into several parishes.

On Monday, April 3, the areas to be fogged in Christ Church are Gibbons Terrrace, Pegwell Boggs, Pegwell Gardens, Keizer Hill, Abby Gardens, Sayes Court, Ealing Grove, Ealing Park North, Chancery Lane, Thyme Bottom and environs.

On Tuesday, April 4, the team will be in St. John, fogging Haynes Hill, Coach Hill, Colleton Tenantry, Pot House, Gall Hill, Carter’s, Clifton Tenantry, Edgecliff and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, April 5, the team returns to Christ Church to spray Kingsland Park, Kingsland Heights, Kingsland East, Kingsland North, Kingsland Terrace, Kingsland Gardens, Wotton Housing Area, Wotton, Best Road, Plumgrove, Lodge Road and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, April 6, the exercise continues in St. James in Prior Park, Prior Park Heights, Halls Village, Prior Park Gardens, Prior Park Terrace, Bagatelle Park, Hoyte’s Village Development, Thorpes Main Road, Thorpes Road, Thorpes Terrace and surrounding areas.

Districts in St. James and St. Michael to be fogged on Friday, April 7, are Pattane Gardens, Mount Standfast, Glitter Bay Terrace, Porters, Trents Tenantry, My Lord’s Hill, Licorish Village, Odessa McClean Avenue, Belle and environs.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day.
