The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness continues its fogging exercise next week in several parishes.

On Monday, August 24, the areas to be fogged in St. Peter will be Diamond Corner, Lower Castle, Upper Castle, Gays Road, Mount #1 and #2, Boscobelle, Collins and environs.

On Tuesday, August 25, fogging continues in St. Peter in Moontown, Clinketts, Clinketts Gardens with Avenues, Half Moon Fort, Shermans, Colleton Gardens with Avenues, Six Men’s, Six Men’s Village and surrounding areas.

On that same date, the team will spray Benn Hill, King Edward Road, Mile-and-A-Quarter, Mount Brevitor, Mount Brevitor Development, Yearwood Road and neighbouring districts.

Areas in St. Joseph to be fogged on Wednesday, August 26, are Chalky Mount, Cambridge, Bissex, Bissex Housing Area, Coconut Grove, Parks Road and environs.

On Thursday, August 27, the areas in St. Michael to be sprayed are Baxters Road, Rock Gap, Hinkson Gap, New Orleans with Avenues, Beckles Avenues, Pickwick Gap with Avenues, Pine Hill Road, Erdiston Road, Phillips Drive, Pine Gardens, Pine Plantation Road and surrounding areas.

And on Friday, August 28, the team will travel to Christ Church to fog Dover with Avenues, St. Lawrence Gap, Paradise Village, Highway 7, Worthing Main Road, Casa Blanca, Rockley, Hastings and environs.

Fogging takes place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
