The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito next week, when its fogging programme moves into Christ Church, St. Michael and St. James.

On Monday, August 24, areas to be fogged will be Maxwell Terrace, Maxwell Road, Moravian Gardens, Fairholme Gardens, Hythe Gardens, Silver Hill, Silver Hill Housing Area, Maxwell Plains and the environs in Christ Church.

On Tuesday, August 25, the team will be in St. Michael fogging Bank Hall Cross Road, Mottley Road, Pavilion Road, Progressive Road, Lower Bank Hall, Country Road, Garden Land, Halls Road, Howells Cross Road, Ivy, Back Ivy, Skeete???s Road, Government Hill, My Lord???s Hill and the surrounding areas.

Fogging continues in St. Michael on Wednesday, August 26, when Pinelands, Phillips Road, Regent Hill, Stratford Hill, North Wildey Terrace, Bottom Close, Rock Ave., Parkinson Field, East Terrace, Wildey Gardens and neighbouring districts will be targeted.

On Thursday, August 27, the team will again be in St. Michael, spraying Ellis Village, Simpson Land, Belmont Road, Carrington Village, Tweedside Road, Arthur Land, Nurse Land, Goddard Road, Bridge Road, Gully Road, Welches Terrace, Martinique Road and the environs.

Districts to be fogged in St. James on Friday, August 28 are Westmoreland, Sion Hill, Carlton, Rock Dundo with avenues, Wanstead Drive, West Terrace with avenues, Oxnards Crescent, Haynesville Housing Area and the surrounding areas.

Fogging will take place daily between 4.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.??
