The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its work to eradicate the Aedes aegypti mosquito next week.

On Monday, August 28, areas to be sprayed in St. Peter are Queen Street, Archer’s Lane, Bovell Road, Mango Lane, Chapel Street, Godding Alley, Church Street, Major Walk and environs.

On Tuesday, August 29, the team will be in St. Michael fogging Lodge Hill, Rock Dundo Heights, Well Gap with Avenues, Rock Dundo, White Hall, Austin’s Drive and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, August 30, the exercise continues in St. James. Areas to be fogged are Oxnards, Zinnia Drive, Violet Circle, Ivy Walk, Apple Walk, Cherry Drive, West Terrace Heights, Oxnards Crescent and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, August 31, Maxwell Coast Road, Maxwell Road, Dover Gardens, Dover Road, Dover Terrace, Dover with Avenues, St. Lawrence Gap and surrounding areas in Christ Church will be targeted.

And on Friday, September 1, the team will return to St. Michael to spray Pleasant View, University Drive with Avenues, Free Hill with Avenues, Connell Road, Rock Road, Clarke Road, Mount Cliff, Boyce Road, Free Hill Crescent and environs.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day.
