Officers of the Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness will be in St. Andrew, St. Peter, Christ Church and St. Michael next week, as they continue their efforts to control the mosquito population.

On Monday, December 3, the team will be in St. Andrew fogging St. Simon’s, Isolation Road, Benn Hill Tenantry, Jordan’s Road, Franklyn Douglin Road, and surrounding areas.

On Tuesday, December 4, fogging will be carried out in the St. Peter and St.Andrew districts of Black Bess, Mangrove with Avenues, Rock Hall, and environs.

On Wednesday, December 5, the team will spray St. Lawrence Gap, Paradise Village, Highway 7, Worthing Main Road, Rendezvous Hill, Casa Blanca, Rockley, Hastings and neighbouring districts in Christ Church.

The areas to be fogged on Thursday, December 6, are Jones Road, My Lord’s Hill, Licorish Village with Avenues, Odessa McClean Avenue, and surrounding areas in St. Michael.

On Friday, December 7, they will visit Packers with Avenues, St. Patricks, Woodbourne with Avenues, Berlin Road with Avenues and environs, in Christ Church.

The fogging exercises will be carried out between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.
