The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Vector Control Unit will concentrate its fogging programme in St. James, next week.

The areas to be fogged on Monday, April 12 are: Bagatelle Road, Bagatelle Park, Little Ridge, Hoytes Village Development, St John The Baptist Drive, and environs.

On Tuesday, April 13, the team will move to 1st and 2nd Avenues Thorpe’s Road, Holders Hill, Thorpe’s Main Road and surrounding areas. Denny Road, Thorpe’s Terrace and immediate areas will be sprayed on Wednesday, April 14.

The exercise will continue on Thursday, April 15, in Halls Village, Halls Village #2, Prior Park Heights, Husbands and environs.

On Friday, April 16, the team will spray Thorpe’s Main Road, Husband Road, Ricks Road, Ricks Road # 1,2,3 and surrounding areas.

Fogging will be conducted between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and householders are encouraged to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has reminded the public that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond its control. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to communities affected in the soonest possible time.
