The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its mosquito eradication efforts by conducting its weekly fogging programme in four parishes next week.

The team will first visit several areas in St. Michael on Tuesday, August 7. These are Harbour Road, Prescod Boulevard, University Row, Spring Garden Highway, and the environs.

The following day, Wednesday, August 8, the Unit will concentrate its efforts on districts in St. Andrew – Jordan’s Road, Franklyn Douglin Tenantry Road, Babylon Road, Bawdens, and the surrounding areas.

On Thursday, August 9,  the fogging unit moves to  St. John where it will target Sherbourne No.1, Sherbourne No.2, Sherbourne No.3, Four Roads, Carters Road, Carters with avenues, and the environs.

Fogging for the week will culminate on Friday, August 10 in Christ Church when the team visits Sargeants Village, Bartlett Road, Sargeants Village Tenantry Road, Brownes Road, Smith Road, and the surrounding districts.

Meanwhile, the Unit will continue to carry out fogging and other treatment activities in and around the Graeme Hall Swamp in Christ Church. Fogging takes place daily, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors so that the spray can enter.
