The Vector Control Unit will continue its fogging programme in St. Thomas next week.

On Monday, August 9, the team will visit Rockhampton Road, Arthurs Seat, Brown’s Gap, Melrose, Edgehill Terrace, Edgehill Gardens, Vernon Edgar Drive, Welches Heights, and surrounding areas.

The communities to be fogged on Tuesday, August 10, include: Grand View Heights, Shop Hill, Christie Village, Nazarene Road, Edgehill Heights 1 and 2, Cane Hill Terrace, and Whitehall.

Cane Garden (all avenues), Cane Garden Park, South View Drive, Jackson and environs will be sprayed on Wednesday, August 11.  The fogging team will be at Jackmans, Brown’s Gap, Friendly Hall,  and neighbouring districts on Thursday, August 12.

Friday, August 13, will be the turn of Welches Terrace 1 to 8,  Welches South 1 to 10, Bagatelle Gardens, Redman’s Village, Kew Land, Alameda, and nearby communities.

The fogging exercise will be carried out between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day.  Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.

Members of the public are reminded that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the control of the Vector Control Unit.  In such circumstances, the Unit will return to affected communities as soon as it can.
