The Vector Control Unit in the Ministry of Health continues its fogging programme in several parishes this week to reduce the Aedes aegypti mosquito population.

On Monday, December 12, areas to be sprayed in St. Lucy will be Peterses, Josey Hill, Free Hill, Mount View, Glendabough, Jemmotts, Rock Hall and environs.

On Tuesday, December 13, the team will return to St. Lucy to fog Lowlands, Pie Corner, Moore Hill Tenantry, Well Road, Little Bay and surrounding areas.

St. Philip will be targeted on Wednesday, December 14, specifically Heddings, Sargeant’s Park, Johnson Development, Harmony Lodge and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, December 15, areas to be fogged in St. Thomas will be Bagatelle Gardens, Mount Road, Kew Road, Redman’s Village and environs.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
