The Ministry of Health and Wellness will be conducting its fogging programme in the parishes of St. John and St. Philip next week.

On Monday, May 31, the fogging team will visit the following communities in St. John: Cherry Grove, Henley, Bowmanston, Ashford, The Glen, Ashbury, Lemon Arbor, Natty Browne Hill, Four Roads, Spooners, Pool Land, Roebuck Street, Cheshire, Moores Land, Small Hope, Carter’s, Gall Hill, Gall Hill Development and environs.

The team will then move on to several St. Philip communities. Beginning Tuesday, June 1, they will visit Blades Hill #1, #2, & #3, Three Houses, Thicketts, Mount Pleasant, Pollard Land, Moncrieffe Tenantry, and surrounding areas.

Church Village Development, Padmore Gardens, Halton Terrace, Breezy Hill, Chapel Land 1-7, Cox Hill, Cottage Vale, Cliff Meadows, Featherbed Lane and nearby communities will be sprayed on Wednesday, June 2.

On Thursday, June 3, the exercise will be carried out at Vineyard, Parish Land, Nightingale Land, Gaskin Land, Bushy Park, Harrow Land and Park, Lucas Street, Kenrick Hutson Drive, Park Drive, Grassfield, Duncan’s, Windward Gardens and neighbouring districts.

Bayleys, Mapps Development, Millwall Close, Jezreel, Eastbourne, The Palm, Shrewsbury Park, Levere Crescent and environs will be sprayed on Friday, June 4.

Fogging will be conducted between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day, and householders are encouraged to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness reminds the public that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond its control. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to affected communities in the soonest possible time.
