In an effort to rid the island of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Vector Control Unit will target several parishes from Monday, October 5, until Friday, October 9, between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day.

On Monday, October 5, the team will visit the parish of St. Joseph where they will fog Sugar Hill, Chimborazo, St. Bernard???s Village, Spa Hill, Parks Road, Dark Hole, Hillswick, Phillips Road, Bathsheba, Tent Bay, St. Elizabeth and surrounding districts.

On Tuesday, October 6, 1st & 2nd Street Holetown, Jamestown, Sunset Crest, The Garden, Porters, Trents and the nearby districts in St. James will be sprayed.

The fogging team will make its way to the parishes of Christ Church and St. Thomas on Wednesday, October 7, to fog Walronds, Charnocks, Rock Hall, Cane Garden Park, Jackson Terrace and the environs.

The Unit returns to Christ Church on Thursday, October 8, to spray Harts Gap with Avenues, St. Matthias with Avenues, Dayrells Road, Marine Garden, Hastings, Rhystone Gardens, Old Navy Road, Rockley and surrounding areas.

It will be the turn of St. Michael on Friday, October 2, when Kensington New Road, New Orleans with Avenues, Kensington Lodge, Pickwick Gap with Avenues, Westbury Road and the environs will be sprayed.??Children should be discouraged from running behind the fogging truck or playing in the fog.
