The Vector Control Unit will continue its fogging programme in St. James next week.

The communities to be sprayed on Monday, September 27, include Waterhall Land, St. Silas Heights 1 to 5, Westmoreland and Lancaster No. 2.

On Tuesday, September 28, it will be the turn of Deanstown Terrace, Walcott Avenue, Jackman Avenue, Beckles Gap, Gilkes Village, Buccaneers Terrace, Apes Hill Development, Orange Hill 1 to 3, Endeavour 1 to 3, Lancaster, and surrounding areas.

The exercise will be conducted at Arch Hall Development, Portvale, Lancaster, Seaview, Nicholls Road, Webster Road, Mahogany Avenue, Upper Halcyon Heights and immediate districts on Wednesday, September 29.

Molyneux Road, Simon Road, Walcott Road, Cooper Hill, Maverick Road, Cemetery Road, Harbin Alleyne Road, Flamboyant Avenue, Palm Avenue, Paynes Bay, Layne’s Road, Holders Hill, Olive Lodge Road, Holders Ridge and environs will be fogged on Thursday, September 30.

The fogging team will visit Matthew Drive, Chapel Gap 1 and 2, Clarkes Road, Derricks, Orchard Brow, Appleby Gardens, Forde Terrace and nearby communities on Friday, October 1.

Fogging will be conducted from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.

The public is reminded that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the control of the Vector Control Unit.  In such circumstances, the Unit will return to communities affected in the soonest possible time.
