The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness will continue its fogging exercise in Christ Church, St. Michael, and St. James next week.

On Monday, July 13, areas to be fogged in Christ Church are Hastings, Rhystone Gardens, Brownes Gap, Rockley Village, Rockley with Avenues, Bynoe Road, Dayrells Road, Rendezvous Hill, Brewster Road, Worthing with Avenues, Bamboo Road, Harmony Hall, Top Rock and environs. Beckles Road in St. Michael will also be fogged on that day.

On Tuesday, July 14, the team will continue spraying in Christ Church, namely Sargeant’s Village, Bartlett Road, Sargeant’s Village Tenantry Road, Browne’s Road, Smith Road, Warners Gardens and surrounding areas.

Targeted areas in St. Michael on Wednesday, July 15, will be Culloden Road, Dalkeith Village, Tamarind Avenue, Chapel Place, Beckles Road, Jessamine Avenue, Pipers Avenues, Curwin Avenue, Browne’s Avenue, Luke’s Avenue, Bay Street, Chelsea Road and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, July 16, the team returns to St. Michael to spray Highgate Gardens, Collymore Rock, Burke’s Land, Eversley Road, Brittons New Road, Reece Land, Valerie, Brittons Cross Road, Beckles Road and environs.

Areas to be fogged on Friday, July 17, in St. James are 1st and 2nd Street Holetown, Cherry Avenue, Sunset Boulevard, Violet Row, Hibiscus Avenue, Cemetery Lane, Mayhoe Avenue, Cordia Avenue, Flamboyant Avenue and surrounding areas.

Fogging takes place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter.
