The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its work to eradicate the Aedes aegypti mosquito next week.

On Monday, July 3, the team will be in St. Peter, fogging Mile-and-a-Quarter, Jerusalem, Maynard’s Development, Valley View, Convent Drive, Sunset Heights and environs.

On Tuesday, July 4, they will spray Ellis Village, Halls Road, Bibby’s Lane, Marl Hole, School Lane, Belmont Road, Carrington Village, St. Hill Road, Alkins Road, Quakers Road, Northam Road, Chadderton Road, Tweedside Road, Arthur Land with Avenues and neighbouring districts in St. Michael.

On Wednesday, July 5, Christ Church will be targeted, specifically Rendezvous Hill, Rendezvous Ridge, Rendezvous Gardens, Fairways with Avenues, Amity Lodge, Lower Amity Lodge and environs.

On Thursday, July 6, the team returns to St. Michael to fog Kensington New Road, Baxter’s Road, New Orleans with Avenues, Rock Gap, Hinkson Gap, Marshall Gap and neighbouring districts

Fogging continues on Friday, July 7, in the St. Michael districts of Lower Brighton Road, Brighton Crescent, Exmouth Gap, Deacons Road, Brandons, Ward’s Land, Bird’s River, Holders Land, Bayswater and environs.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day.
