The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes aegypti mosquito next week when its fogging programme moves into several parishes.

On Monday, March 20, areas to be fogged in Christ Church are  Enterprise Coast Road, Enterprise A and B, Lower Carter’s Gap, Upper Carter’s Gap, Goodland Gardens, Goodland Park, Rollins Road, Silver Sands, Browne’s Land, Enterprise Road and environs.

On Tuesday, March 21, the team will be in St. Thomas, fogging Jackson, Browne’s Gap, Arthur Seat, Melrose, Downes Gap, Warrens Terrace, Bridgefield, Forty Acres, Hopewell and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, March 22, the team returns to Christ Church to spray Garrison Road, Hart’s Gap with Avenues, St. Matthias with Avenues, Hastings, Rockley View Road with Avenues, Goodridge Road, Dayrells Road, Golf Club Road, Bynoe Road, Rendezvous Hill, Fairways Road and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, March 23, the exercise continues in St. Michael in Lodge Hill Crescent, Topaz Drive, Emerald Drive, Pearl Drive, Eden Lodge, Eden Lodge Housing Area, Austin’s Drive, Quarry Road, Crest View, Whitehall, Johnson Land, Medford Road and surrounding areas.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4.30 to 7.30 p.m. each day.
