The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its fogging programme aimed at eradicating the Aedes aegypti mosquito next week.

On Monday, March 26, a team will be in St. Andrew and St. Joseph fogging Farrell’s Road, Corbin’s Village, Lakes Village, Coggins Hill, Chalky Mount, Cambridge and the environs.

On Tuesday, March 27, areas to be sprayed in Christ Church are Rendezvous Hill, Rendezvous Ridge, Rendezvous Gardens, Fairways with Avenues, Amity Lodge and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, March 28, districts in St. James to be fogged are Fitts Village, Risk Road, Vaughn’s Road, Berbice, Piggott Road, Johnson Road, Prospect Road, Prospect, Crusher Site Road and environs.

St. Philip will be targeted on Thursday, March 29, specifically Nursery #1, Nursery #2, Four Roads, Mangrove, Mangrove Terrace, Carnation Close and neighbouring districts.

The fogging exercises will be carried out between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
