The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes aegypti mosquito this week.

On Tuesday, May 23, the team will be in St. Michael to spray Hinds Hill, Husbands Development, Airlie Tenantry, Pipers, Reservoir Road, Clermont and neighbouring districts.

On Wednesday, May 24, St. John will be targeted, specifically Sherbourne #1, Sherbourne #2, Sherbourne #3, Claybury, Mount Tabor, Mount Tabor Heights, Venture, Easy Hall Tenantry and environs.

Areas in St. Joseph to be fogged on Thursday, May 25, will be Joe’s River, Church Road, Bowing Alley, Clifton Tower Road, Horse Hill, Bowell Road, Tower Ville, Blackman’s, Blackman’s Tenantry and surrounding areas.

Fogging takes place in St. Philip on Friday, May 26, in Lucas Street, Tranquility Drive, Duncan Circle, Duncans, Jezreel, Sandford Development, Millwall Close, Mapps Development and neighbouring districts.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4.30 to 7.30 p.m. each day.
