The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes aegypti mosquito next week.

On Monday, May 8, areas to be fogged in St. Lucy are North Point, Hope Development, River Bay, Spring Hall, Chance Hall, Coconut Hall, Bishops, Rockfield Road, Lowlands and environs.

On Tuesday, May 9, the team returns to St. Lucy to spray St. Clement’s, Well Road, Moore Hill Tenantry, Little Bay, Cove Bay, Pie Corner, Harmony Tenantry, Cave Hill and neighbouring districts.

On Wednesday, May 10, districts in St. Peter to be fogged are Collins, Boscobelle, Baltic Road, Date Tree Hill, Carrington Road, The Risk, Johnson Road and surrounding areas.

On Thursday, May 11, St. James and St. Thomas will be targeted, specifically Warrens Crescent, Welches Grove, Redman’s Village, Clover Crescent, Rotund Avenue, Prior Park and environs.

Fogging takes place in St. Michael on Friday, May 12, in Hinds Hill, Husbands Development, Airlie Tenantry, Pipers, Reservoir Road, Clermont and neighbouring districts.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4.30 to 7.30 p.m. each day.
