The Ministry of Health continues its battle against the aedes aegypti mosquito next week, beginning Monday, November 17, when officers from the Vector Control Unit will be in St. James fogging 1st and 2nd Street Holetown, Jamestown Park, Sunset Crest, Cemetery Lane, Molyneux, Sandy Lane, Laynes Road, Payne???s Bay, Holders Hill, Chapel Road, Fitts Village and the environs.

On Tuesday, November 18, the team will visit neighbourhoods in St. Andrew to fog Walkers, Bawdens, Babylon, Isolation Road, Belleplaine, Lakes, East Coast Road, Round Rock, Bathsheba and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, November 19, they will fog Lower Carlton with avenues, Weston, the Garden, Mount Standfast, Westmoreland, Porters, Bay Terrace, Trents and neighbouring districts.

The fogging exercise continues on Thursday, November 20, in Christ Church, specifically Maxwell Coast Road, Dover, St. Lawrence Gap, Amity Lodge, Worthing Main Road, Hastings Main Road and the environs.

On Friday, November 21, spraying will be done in St. Michael, at Two Mile Hill, Haggatt Hall, Barker???s Road, Neils Tenantry, Rouen Road, Tichbourne, Howells Cross Road, St Barnabas Heights, Stafford Hill, Smith Avenue, Golden Rock, Princess Royal Avenue, Hilltop and surrounding districts.

The fogging exercise takes place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
