The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness continues its fogging exercise next week in St. Michael/St. George and St. Philip.

From Monday to Thursday, the team will concentrate its efforts in St. Philip. On Monday, November 9, the areas to be fogged are Breezy Hill, Halton Terrace, Chapel, Church Village, Wellhouse, River Land, Lynches, Lynches Tenantry and environs.

On Tuesday, November 10, fogging continues in Long Bay Development, Park Road, Belair Cross Road, Belair Terrace with Avenues, Falmouth Development, Nerita Close, Crane Development and surrounding areas. 

On Wednesday, November 11, the team will spray Lucas Street, Windward Gardens with Avenues, Tranquility Drive, Park Drive, Ruby Drive, Duncans, Beulah, Sandy Hill and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, November 12, the areas to be fogged are Sealy Hall, Content Cot, Coles Crescent, Coles Terrace, Coles Close, Merricks, Merricks Tenantry Road and environs.

The team will spray the following districts in St. George on Friday, November 13: South District, Gill Road, Watts Village, Fort George Heights, Valley Drive, Southern Avenue, Palm Avenue, Hillcrest Avenue, Sunset Drive and surrounding areas.

Fogging takes place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.

The public is asked to note that the completion of the scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the control of the Vector Control Unit.  In such circumstances, the Unit will return to affected communities as soon as possible.
