The Ministry of Health will continue its efforts to rid the island of dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases when a number of districts are fogged next week.

On Monday, October 30, the following districts in St. Peter will be targeted: Reservoir Road, Millionaire Road, Station Hill, Around the Town, Golden Mile, Douglas Development, Church Hill Road, Tom Bend Road, Mile- and- a-Quarter and the environs.

The following day, Tuesday, October 31, the team will be in St. Lucy and will conduct fogging operations in Oxford, Mount Gay, Mount Gay Village, Church Hill, Alleynedale and surrounding areas.

The Vector Control Unit will be in St. Michael on Wednesday, November 1, and will spray Grazettes Industrial Park, Piedmont Park, Long Gap, Field Side Drive, Hope Land, Spooners Hill, and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, November 2, the team will conduct fogging operations in St. Joseph and will target St. Elizabeth, St. Elizabeth New Road, Phillips Road, Bathsheba, Bathsheba Road, Hillswick and the environs.

The Vector Team returns to St. Michael on Friday, November 3, and will spray Parkinson Field, Field Road, Rock Avenue, Rock Close, Bottom Close, Factory Avenue, and surrounding districts.

The fogging operations run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day and residents are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the fog to penetrate.

Parents are reminded that children should not be allowed to play in the fog or run behind the fogging machine.
