The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito next week, when its fogging programme moves into several parishes.

On Monday, September 14, areas to be fogged in St. Joseph will be Andrews Tenantry, Branchbury, Lammings, Airy Hill, Sugar Hill, Hillswick, Phillips Road, Bathsheba, Tent Bay, St. Elizabeth and the environs.

On Tuesday, September 15, the team will be in St. Michael and St. Thomas, fogging Spooners Hill, Long Gap with Avenues, Pillersdorf Development, Rogers Terrace, Grazettes Gardens, Jackson, Brownes Gap, Arthur Seat, Melrose and the surrounding areas.

Fogging continues in Christ Church on Wednesday, September 16, when Sargeant???s Village, Bartlett Road, Smith Road, Tino Terrace, Barracks Hill, Vauxhall with Avenues, Briar Hall and neighbouring districts will be targeted.

On Thursday, September 17, the team will be in St. Andrew and St. James spraying Hillaby, White Hill, Mose Bottom, Turners Hall, Gregg Farm, Orange Hill Development, Endeavour, Lancaster, Sion Hill, Rock Dundo with Avenues, Gibbs and the environs.

They will return to St. Michael on Friday, September 18, to fog Brandons, Birds River, Deacons Court, Deacons Farm, Fernihurst, Jones Land, Rosemount, Lennox Road, Goodland, Marine Square, Bridge Gap, Black Rock and the surrounding areas. Fogging will take place daily between 4.30 and 7.30 p.m. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
