The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito next week when its fogging programme moves into several parishes.

On Monday, September 19, areas to be fogged in St. Peter and St. John are Ashton Hall, Clarke’s Road, Corbin Road, Reservoir Road, Millionaire Road, Station Hill, The Whim, Society, College Land, Sergeant Street and the environs.

On Tuesday, September 20, the team will be in St. James, fogging West Terrace Gardens with Avenues, West Terrace Heights, Oxnard Crescent, Haynesville, Husbands Heights, Husbands Development, Rick’s Road, Tulip Drive, Croton Drive, Sunflower Drive, Oxnards and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, September 21, fogging continues in St. George in Workmans, Johnson Road, Free Hill, Middleton, Fairview, Jordan Road, Jericho, Greens, Drax Hall Hope, Prerogative, Baird’s Village and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, September 22, the fogging exercise moves to St. Michael, where Beckles Road, Jessamine Avenue, Gully Field, Piper’s Avenue, Curwen Avenue, Clarke’s Avenue, Bay Street, Chelsea Road, Dunlow Lane, Collymore Rock, Jemmotts Lane, St. Paul’s Avenue, Evelyn Avenue, Grant’s Avenue,
Bay Gardens, Culloden Road and surrounding areas will be targeted.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day.
