The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito next week, when its fogging programme moves into several parishes.

On Monday, September 28, areas to be fogged in St. Joseph will be Sugar Hill, Chimborazo, St. Bernard???s Village, Spa Hill, Parks Road, Dark Hole, Hillswick, Phillips Road, Bathsheba, Tent Bay, St. Elizabeth and the environs.

On Tuesday, September 29, the team will be in St. James fogging 1st and 2nd Street Holetown, Jamestown, Sunset Crest, the Garden, Porters, and surrounding areas.

Fogging continues in St. Peter and St. Thomas on Wednesday, September 30, when Gays, Collins, Baltic, Boscobelle, Highland, Welchman Hall, Vault Road, Cane Garden and neighbouring districts will be targeted.

On Thursday, October 1, the team will be in St. Peter and St. James spraying Queen Street, Archers Lane, Bovell Road, Porters Road, Mango Lane, Chapel Street, Major Walk, Carlton with Avenues, Bairds Road, Doughlin Road, Crick Hill, Mount Standfast and the environs.

On Friday, October 2, districts in St. Michael to be fogged will be Britton???s New Road, Britton???s Cross Road, Britton???s Hill, Villa Road, Reece Land, Flagstaff and surrounding areas. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter.
