The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its work to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito next week.

On Monday, September 4, areas to be sprayed in St. James are Oxnards, Zinnia Drive, Violet Circle, Ivy Walk, Apple Walk, Cherry Drive, West Terrace Heights, Oxnards Crescent and environs.

On Tuesday, September 5, the team will be in St. Michael fogging Lodge Hill, Rock Dundo Heights, Well Gap with Avenues, Rock Dundo, White Hall, Austin’s Drive and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, September 6, the exercise continues in St. James. Areas to be fogged are Desert Rose Drive, Wanstead Gardens, Wanstead Gardens Heights, Oxnards Heights, Husbands Heights, Husbands Development and neighbouring districts.

On Thursday, September 7, Whitepark Road, Mahogany Lane, Sobers Lane, Lightfoot Lane, Chapman Street, Hunte Street, King Street, Passage Road, Strathclyde, Barbarees Hill, Thornes Gap, Kensington Lodge and Baxter’s Road in St. Michael will be targetted.

And on Friday, September 8, the team will return to St. James to spray Paradise Heights, Wanstead Gardens with Avenues, West Terrace, West Terrace Gardens with Avenues and environs.

Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. The fogging exercise runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day.
