Fogging will continue next week in six parishes.

When it starts on Monday, January 25, it will target areas bordering St. Peter and St. James, including Mullins, Gibbs, Lower Bakers, Sion Hill, Spring Head, Westmoreland, St. Silas Heights, Waterhall and their environs.

The following day, Tuesday, January 26, the team from the Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health, will visit districts in St. Peter. These are: Maynard’s Tenantry, Maynard’s Development, Rose Hill, Benn Hill, Golden Mile, Golden Mile Terrace, Heywoods, Six Men’s and surroundings.??

On Wednesday, January 27, areas that abut and bound St. Thomas and St. James will be fogged, namely Bennetts, Bennetts Tenantry, Arch Hall, Rock Hall, Fire Hill, Content Development, Seaview and their environs.

Attention will be turned to districts bordering St. Andrew and St. Thomas on

Thursday, January 28.?? Among these will be Hillaby, Church Gap, Mose Bottom, Turners Hall, Gregg Farm, Bawdens, Walkers, Babylon and their surroundings.

Fogging culminates on Friday, January 29, in areas between Christ Church and St. Michael. These are: Fordes Road, Plantain Walk, Clapham Drive, Brittons New Road, Manchester Road, Liverpool Road, Flagstaff Road, Upper Streats Road, Upper

Ifill Road, Mount Clapham, Villa Road, Upper Collymore Rock, Brittons Cross Road, McClean Gap, Weir Gap, Scotts Gap, Perkins Gap, Cummins Road, Laynes Road, Hillbury Road, Knights Road, Brydens Avenue, Brydens Road, Brittons Park, Millyard Road, Valerie Land and their environs.

??All fogging runs from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. and householders are asked to assist by opening windows and doors to allow the fog to penetrate.

Persons with respiratory problems should, however, protect themselves from inhaling the fog, while pedestrians and motorists are advised to proceed with caution when encountering fogging operations on the street.

Parents are instructed to prohibit children from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging machine.
