As part of its continuing efforts to reduce the presence of the aedes aegypti mosquito, the Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will carry out its fogging operations in some parts of St. Michael, tomorrow, Thursday, June 7.

The team is scheduled to visit Brandons, Birds River, Farm Housing Area, Brighton; Ashdean Village; Rosemont; Black Rock Main Road; Deacons Road; Headley Road; Odle Road; Farnum Road; Marine Square; Goodland with Avenues and the surrounding areas from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Householders are asked to assist in the elimination of the deadly aedes aegypti mosquito by opening windows and doors to allow the fog to penetrate.

Persons with respiratory problems should protect themselves from inhaling the fog, while pedestrians and motorists must proceed with caution when encountering fogging operations on the street.

Parents are also advised to prohibit their children from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging machine.??
