The Ministry of Health will continue its fogging programme next week, by visiting four parishes.

Fogging will start on Monday, August 17, in the St. James area, where Orange Hill, Apes Hill, Endeavour, Baywoods, Buccaneer Terrace, Waterhall and the environs will be fogged.

The following day, Tuesday, August 18, the team is scheduled to visit various districts in Christ Church.?? These are Kingsland, Kingsland Park, Kingsland Crescent, Kingsland Terrace, Kingsland Stage 1, 2 & 3, Kingsland Heights, Kingsland Gardens, Kingsland Drive and the surroundings.

On Wednesday, August 19, fogging will continue in Christ Church in the areas of Wotton, Wotton Terrace Units, Kingsland Terrace, Montrose, Water Street, Lodge Road, Best Road, Plumgrove Development, Wilson Village, Newton Industrial Park and the environs.

Fogging will move to St. George on Thursday, August 20.?? The areas to be visited are Dash Valley, Monroe Road, Mapp Hill, Haynes Hill, Pasture Road, Cutting Road, Palm Tree Road, Salters Tenantry Road, Roberts Tenantry, Haggatt Hall, Haggatt Hall Development, Salters Main Road, Neils Road, Cosy Corner, Bird Hill and the districts in the vicinity.

Fogging will culminate in St. Michael on Friday, August 21, at Hothersal Turning, Clarkes Gap, Hothersal Development, Friendship Road, Friendship Tenantry Road, Jackmans, Lears, Skeete Road, Brownes Road, Hothersal Gardens, Lower Estate Gardens, Lower Estate Terrace, Friendly Hall and the environs.

All fogging runs from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and householders are asked to assist in the elimination of the deadly Aedes Aegypti mosquito by opening windows and doors to allow the fog to penetrate.

Persons with respiratory problems should protect themselves from inhaling the fog, while pedestrians and motorists must proceed with caution when encountering fogging operations on the street.

Parents are instructed to prohibit children from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging machine.
