Some 25 children will bid farewell to summer next week Friday, when the Folkestone Marine Reserve camp draws to a close.

Attendees would have enjoyed an action-filled three weeks, which focused on educating them about the importance and beauty of the underwater world. The activities featured included a turtle and shipwreck snorkelling expedition, trips on the Glass Bottom Boat and Atlantis Submarine and tours of the Weston Fish Market and Weston Fire Station.??

Outings during the final week will see the campers travel to neighbouring Speightstown to visit the historic Arlington Museum; they will also be visiting Welchman Hall, St. Thomas to explore Harrison’s Cave.
