Residents of St. John are urged to participate in a food and collection drive which will take place throughout the parish on Saturday, October 20, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The initiative is being conducted by the St. John HIV and AIDS Education Committee with the aim of collecting items for the HIV Food Bank, as well as to assist less fortunate St. John residents.

Persons may donate canned items, pasta, rice, tea, juice, biscuits, toiletries and clothes which are in good condition.

The drive will begin from Gall Hill, St. John and continue through the districts of Glebe Land, Colleton, Coach Hill, Welch Village, Bath, Sargeant Street, College Land, Sealy Hall, Palmers and College Savannah.
