The Environmental Health Department of the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, at Warrens, St. Michael, will be hosting a half-day training workshop on Food Safety and Vector Control on Thursday, June 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The session will be presented using a blended approach, with some participants attending face-to-face upstairs the polyclinic, while others will take part via Zoom, to adhere to physical distancing protocols.

Those taking part were invited from a number of organisations, including PriceSmart, Chicken Barn, Burger King, Chefette Restaurants, Kentucky Fried Chicken Co. Ltd, Massy and Lucky Horseshoe restaurants.  

Community Health Liaison Officers attached to the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic will also be participating in the workshop. Persons attending the session will receive a certificate of participation. All COVID-19 protocols will be in place.
