Retired Executive Director of the Barbados Manufacturers’ Association (BMA), Bobbi McKay, has been praised for her “tireless, steadfast and unwavering support” of the island’s manufacturing sector.

Minister of Industry, International Business, Commerce and Small Business Development, Donville Inniss, commended Ms. McKay today as he addressed the official opening of BMEX 2018 at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

Extending gratitude on behalf of his Ministry, Mr. Inniss noted that the retired Executive Director was keen on ensuring the sector “got what it deserved” and lauded her dedication over the 12 years of her tenure with the BMA.

Meanwhile, her successor, Shardae Boyce, was also commended by the Minister, who said that her private sector background had ably assisted the Ministry.
