The Ministry of Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Commerce, as part of its remit to promote entrepreneurship within “We Gatherin’ 2020”, will host a panel discussion entitled Straight Talk – Open for Business.  It’s a forum where the role of entrepreneurship in promoting economic enfranchisement will be discussed.

The event will be held at the Alexandra School, Queens Street, St. Peter, on Monday, February 10, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Minister of Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Commerce, Dwight Sutherland, will lead the panel, which will include a number of representatives in the entrepreneurial field.  These include the Barbados Trust Fund Limited, Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme, Student Entrepreneurship Empowerment Department of UWI, as well as two successful entrepreneurs.  The moderator will be Antoine Williams.
