The first of two public education forums, aimed at providing information about the Child Care Board’s foster care programme, takes place on Wednesday, May 15, at the Church of God, Mile & A Quarter, St. Peter.
Resource persons will be Senior Child Care Officer, Colin St. Hill; former foster child, Jennifer Walker; and foster parent, Lynn Morgan.
The session begins at 7:15 p.m. and persons interested in becoming foster parents are especially invited to attend.
That same panel will lead the second session at the Wesleyan Holiness Church, Welches, St. Michael, on Wednesday, May 22, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
