The Ministry of Health’s fogging programme will target four parishes across the island next week.

On Monday, October 31, the team from the Vector Control Unit will go to St. Lucy.?? Crab Hill, Crab Hill Tenantry # 1&2, Archers Bay Road, Content, Stroud Bay, Avistown, Harrises, Greenidges, Cliffs, St. Swithins and the environs will be fogged.

The following day, Tuesday, November 1, the team will visit St. Peter and fog Station Hill, Douglas Development, Ashton Hall, Mile- and- A-Quarter, Millionaire Road, Greaves Road, Maynards Landing Scheme, Maynards Development and the nearby districts.

On Wednesday, November 2, will be the turn of St George residents. Fogging will be carried out in Bridge Cot, Paradise Village, Groves Tenantry and the environs.

The exercise continues on Thursday, November 3, when the team moves to St. Michael, Green Hill, North and South Friendship, Mahaica Gap, Lewis Gap, Storey Gap, Lodge Terrace and the surrounding areas.

St. Michael will be re-visited on Friday, November 4. Fogging will occur in Wildey Road, East Terrace, Wildey Gardens, Barclays Park, Wildey Industrial Park, South Meadow, North Meadow 1-6 Avenues, North Meadow, Rock Close, Rock Avenue and the environs.

Persons are asked to open doors and windows to allow the fog to penetrate. Persons with respiratory problems should protect themselves from inhaling the fog. Pedestrians and motorists are asked to proceed with caution when encountering fogging operations on the street. Parents are instructed to prohibit children from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging machine.
