The Ministry of Health’s fogging programme will continue in four parishes next week, as it seeks to rid the island of the aedes aegypti mosquito.?? Fogging will take place from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

On Monday, September 14, the Vector Control Unit will fog the St. James districts of Oxnard’s, Husbands Heights, Husbands Development, Wanstead Heights, Wanstead Gardens, Wanstead Terrace, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, & 9th Avenues and the environs.

Christ Church and St. Philip will be visited on Tuesday, September 15, and the districts of Pilgrim Road, Coverley, Coverley Terrace, Cave Garden, Rock Hall, Charnocks and surrounding areas will be targeted.

The fogging team will journey to St. Michael on Wednesday, September 16, and fog Kew Road, Hill Road, Pasture Road, Quarry Road, Bank Hall Main Road and Avenues, Dash Gap and Avenues, Tudor Bridge, Olivies Gap, Palm Road, Bank Hall Cross Road, Roxy Gap, Water Hall Land and the environs.

The team will return to St. Michael on Thursday, September 17, and spray Kew Road, Holders Land, Promenade Road, Bank Hall Main Road, Industry Road, Military Road, Review Road, Perfection Road, 1st to 4th Avenue Alleynes Land, Richards Land, Marshall Land, Ellis Road, Reece Road, Powlett Road, Stadium Road, Butlers Avenue, Bow Road, Syndicate Road, Pioneer Road, Chapel Gap, Civilian Road and surrounding districts.

Fogging for the week will culminate on Friday, September 18, in St. Michael at Spooners Hill, Grazettes New Road, Grazettes Court, Grazettes Landing Scheme,

Grazettes Housing Area, Piedmont Park, Pillersdorf Development, Long Gap with Avenues, Rock Gap, Allamby Gap, Woodstock Gap and the environs.

Persons with respiratory illnesses are advised to protect themselves from inhaling the fog and householders should open their windows and doors to allow the fog to take effect.
